In 1814, Regency-era London, Mary Wollstonecraft-Godwin is a 16 years old aspiring writer who works in the bookshop of her renowned father writer William Godwin, married in second terms after the passing of his first wife, philosopher Mary Wollstonecraft, with the too married by second time Mary Jane Clairmont, where Mary Jane's daughter of her first marriage Claire turns in a close and lovely stepsister for Mary. When Mary and Claire travel at the house of one of William's friends in Scotland, Mary meets the 21 years old poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, rising instantly a love interest between them. Returning to London little time later, Mary unexpectedly meets Percy again when he appears at her house in order to ask William to take him on as an apprentice. Fascinated by Percy, Mary begins a bohemian and torrid relationship with him despite the opposition of her father and her stepmother, especially after they discover that Percy is married with a little daughter whom he supports but he loves no longer. Determined to be free and live on her own terms, Mary flees with Percy to live together accompanied by Claire, who wants to get far from her abusive mother. Their initial happiness turns to tragedy due to the debts and poverty, in addition to the terrible loss of Mary and Percy's daughter, who dies only a few months after to born. Broken by suffering and pain, as well as a season living with the rich, eccentric and hedonist Lord Byron and doctor John Polidori, Mary turns into a shadowy being, becoming more and more obsessed with the idea of resurrecting the dead, while Claire lives a stormy and painful romance with the own Byron. All these events will lead Mary, motivated by a Lord Byron's bet about who can write the scariest horror novel, to find her own voice and exorcise her innermost demons by writing "Frankenstein; or The Modern Prometheus". But when prejudices of these times cause the novel to be attributed to Percy Shelley, it forces Mary to fight by claiming the novel as her own to prove that a woman can be the writer as she is.

I've read this book many times, and one of the best things that I've ever read is 'The Death of Sherlock Holmes.' And that's not saying much. But I have to say that I agree with the critics who say that this movie is pretty darn good. I mean, I don't think it's great, but I'm not going to let it go in my mind. It's one of those movies that you watch, and you're just kind of waiting for it to end. And it does end. The ending, I'm sure, is going to be completely unexpected. And the movie makes sense of the ending in a way that you don't see in many movies. The acting is also very good. I don't think anyone over-acts, and no one over-dramatizes the movie. The costumes are quite wonderful. The scenery is gorgeous. The locations look nice, and the actors do a very good job of looking like they're really in those locations. I think that's the real difference between this movie and most others. This is one of the few movies that really looks like a movie. One of the only times I was really surprised by a movie was at the end of this one. I was expecting to see a big, giant explosion, but instead I got a lot of small explosions. And in some of them, you get really close to the actors. And that's really one of the reasons that I like this movie. I think that this movie really has something for everybody. And that's the reason I give it an 8/10.

This is one of the best films I have seen in ages. The photography and the sets were stunning, the actors were excellent, and the story was superb. The settings were beautiful, with the exception of the Lord of the Rings movies where the settings were over-stylized. The cast was well selected, and the story was intriguing. If you haven't seen this film, you have missed something special. I think you will like this film.

I am a very big fan of the original novel. I read the book and watched the movie. I saw the movie twice and both times I was able to watch the film again and again. This is not a movie for children. I saw it twice in a row and my friends and I were laughing so hard. There are scenes where you will cringe, but there are also scenes that will make you cry. This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is well-written, well-acted, and well-filmed. I cannot think of anything to complain about. The actors do a great job and the effects are amazing. I think that it is a great film, I think that it is very good. I can not believe how much I liked this movie. I would recommend it to anyone. This is one of the best movies I have ever seen and I can not wait to see it again. I am so happy that I saw it twice, I am so happy that I have seen it twice. I hope you all have a wonderful day and I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did. See you at the theater, see you at the video store, see you at the movies, see you at home. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

For anyone who thinks that a dark, creepy tale about a woman whose husband was murdered and the search for truth in a supernatural realm is somehow laughable, take a look at this movie. But for those who have a fascination with the supernatural, it's a must see. And even if you're not into that sort of thing, you'll probably like the movie, as it's full of fun and is very entertaining. I was impressed with the acting, and the fact that this is based on a true story gave the movie a great, unique atmosphere. I was drawn into the story, and I think that many would be as well. I give it a B+.

I'm not a fan of the Lord Byron, nor am I a fan of the fictional character he portrayed in "Wuthering Heights". This film is different. It's a fantastic biography of the painter, all the way through his life. It's set in the Victorian era, and all the important people and events are as historically accurate as you could possibly wish for. What's more, it is so much more than a biography, because the film is not only a biography, but it is a love story. I've often wondered what would have happened to Mr. Byron's life had he not been born in England and had the opportunity to attain the fame and fortune that he achieved in America. "Wuthering Heights" gives us the answer to that question. I found the romance between Mr. Byron and Elinor "Flo" Ewell in the film a fascinating one. I can't imagine the enormous pressure and pressure of being both a painter and a woman and making a life in America and creating a life that belonged to both. As a viewer, I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for them. This is a film that you should not miss.

One of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I've seen a lot of movies and this one is right up there. This movie is so realistic, you feel like you are there. It has a story that is so touching, it will make you cry, and it will make you laugh. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good story, a good love story, and a good movie. It is also one of the best movies that was nominated for a Best Picture. The acting in this movie is also very good. The people who play the characters are very well chosen, they have that great acting. They have great chemistry. They are also very realistic. I don't want to give any spoilers, but it is a very good movie. I give it a 9/10.
