The book was set in a different time and place. What it lacked in structure, it made up for with a consistent and gripping story. The movie fails to capture the basic elements of the book but adds in enough information to be compelling and memorable. The casting was good and the performances were terrific. The cinematography was very effective and the sets were beautifully realized. I was really impressed with the visual effects. The movie does not need to be as long as it is to be effective. The acting was very believable and all the characters are very real. The story was engrossing and the visuals were beautiful. This movie is a must see and should be a must buy.

I remember watching this film when I was in my teens and I remember the scene when the T-1000 and the human race (humans) were the one that decided to get rid of the sandworm. This film is a must for sci-fi fans. It is amazing how the human race could be destroyed by the sandworms. This film will be remembered forever.

In the 1920s, a man named Herbert West (John Hurt) is hired to build a road on his property. Soon he realizes that he is being transported to a remote outpost where he will be forced to build a mechanical flying machine that will take him to a distant star. When Herbert's wife becomes pregnant, he must decide whether to use his power to save her or to destroy her. The film's greatest strength is the characters. Each is so detailed and appealing, it is impossible to dislike any of them. The supporting cast includes the likes of Peter Weller, James Brolin, James Horner, and Richard Benjamin. The special effects are also impressive and believable. The film is based on the novel "Dune," by Frank Herbert, and is one of the best science fiction films of all time. The film is fantastic in every way and deserves to be seen and enjoyed by many people. My Grade: A

Dune is one of my all-time favourite films. I first watched it when I was nine, and I still watch it occasionally. I don't know if it was the time I was watching it, or the movie itself, but I have never been so engrossed by a film as I was by this one. I can't put my finger on why, but it is the feeling that you can feel from the beginning. There is no need to explain the plot, or the movie's plot. It's a wonderful blend of sci-fi, fantasy and religion, and all of it is very well done. The movie is not without its flaws, and I'm not going to bother going into them. Suffice it to say that the acting is not great, the plot is somewhat convoluted and the special effects are not as good as they could have been. But, for me, it was the perfect blend of all these elements that made the film so special. I have seen it so many times, I can hardly remember the details of the movie. It is one of those films that stays with you long after you have seen it. It is truly a great film. 9/10

I'm not a fan of the sci-fi genre, but I loved this movie. I found it to be a wonderfully told story about the human condition and what we as human beings do to cope with our own limitations. I can't wait to see it again.

This movie is great. I liked the cast, the story, the action, the science, the actors, and the sets. I liked the costumes. I liked the alien races. I liked the story. I liked the special effects. I especially liked the visual effects. And I think that the soundtrack was awesome, too. The movie does have some flaws. For example, some of the scenes were a little unrealistic. For example, the final battle in the desert. I think that the scene was good, but I think that it could have been better. For example, I think that the alien creatures could have been better. I also think that the final battle was a little bit too long, and that the movie could have been shorter. I also think that the movie could have been longer. The only thing I don't like about this movie is the ending. I think that it was a little bit too sudden. I don't think that the movie needed to end that way. But other than that, I think that the movie was great. I recommend it to anyone who likes science fiction. I hope that they make a sequel.
