Hey, all the hype about Triple Threat, and a huge box office take, makes me look forward to it, and was totally blown away. This film shows just how versatile an actor James Woods can be. In fact, if this film didn't have him in it, it would have been horrible. He is a known actor who can really hold his own in these superhero films. I've always been a big fan of Samuel L. Jackson, and thought that this would be a fun movie to watch with him, since I'm a big fan of action and he is an action star. The action is great, the plot is good, and I think that even with the limited time they had to show the character, the film was a great experience. It was quick and fun, and I liked the fact that they didn't make a big deal out of the fact that they're dealing with a movie that has a villain like this. I was thinking of the fact that this film could have been very different, and not feel like a Superman film or a Spiderman film, and it was a great way to play with the film. It makes me wonder what kind of Batman stories will come next, and to see if the comics have a villain like this in them, and can it be a spinoff film or sequel or something? I think that even if the film was made for nothing but money, it would be a good film and would be worth seeing. I was really blown away by it, and have now seen the second film and will probably see Triple Threat 2. A great action film, but like I said, not a film to watch with your friends, because it's not a superhero film. Rating: 7.5 out of 10

I have read many reviews stating how these are the worst movies. All of them have bad acting and the story is not compelling. I went to see this movie with very low expectations. I saw all of the previous reviews before I started and I couldn't imagine how someone could give it a 1. I have watched countless movies, and this is not the worst. It does have a pretty good story line, and the actors in this movie have done a pretty good job. Also, the music by Richard Fortey is very good and if you're looking for a film that will make you look out of a nightmare then you may want to check this one out. I will probably add it to my movie collection one day.

John Woo is one of my favorite directors. One thing that I love about his movies is that he takes a cliche action movie and not only does he put twists on it but also uses several subplots that don't affect the main plot. I'm not saying that I would never do a movie like this. As long as the action is entertaining and the plot and twists are good I will happily watch it. When it comes to action movies and I think that you can't have too many to do with one movie. Triple Threat is one of the better examples of this. It's a perfect action movie for action movie fans. The story is simple. The title is from the old cliche action movie. A guy named Triple Threat gets kidnapped and brought to a hideout. Once there he has to play the victim by having everyone kill him. There are plenty of twists to the story. The only real negative is the weak writing. There are a couple of lines that are very cliche and a few other lines that are a little weak. These don't really ruin the movie but they detract from the film. The acting is great for the most part. Gary Busey gives the best performance of his career and again that's saying something. The guy is good. I especially enjoyed John Cusack. When he's on the screen he is just as good as Busey. One thing that is common with Woo's movies is that they are very graphic in their violence. There are very few parts in this movie that are a little too violent. I wouldn't call this a gore fest but I would not say it is bad. I would call it a PG13. This movie isn't perfect. It's kind of lame in that there is only one female character and she is only in the first half of the movie. But I still recommend it to people who like action movies and don't mind a few weak lines. It's a fun movie.

I personally think this is the worst movie of '77, which might have had good or bad points, but I enjoyed the whole thing. People will like the first one or hate it, I'm with the second one. The story is entertaining and the acting is great. Also the editing is the best of the movie. I don't think this one is like his first two movies in the genre. But the first one is just above average and the second one is much better than the first one. At least now I know for sure. But watch this one.

I enjoy both the TV show and the movie. I enjoy the side stories that are told, the character of Koko from the TV show has more depth to her that the film. Some good comic relief in this film with Major Dan McIlwaine from the original TV series. I will see it again.

I've been a fan of the Bill Murray movie "Traffic" for years, but I've never seen anything like "That Dark Night". This is his greatest film. I've never been so taken aback by a film. If you haven't seen this movie, you are missing out on a must see movie.

The first Triple Threat on cable television. I went in with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised by the first half hour. I had some trepidations from the previews, but they were all cleared up as the film unfolded. The film delivers on its promises with a powerful yet not overbearing story. The lead cast is a step above most of the recent movies, especially that of the legendary Bruce Willis and the great Gary Oldman. The action sequences are well done and the gore has been increased. This is the kind of film that you might want to buy as a set for the horror-movies to own. Most of the violence is pretty tame. There is a distinct lack of profanity. This film is really just for the fans of the genre and should be viewed as such. However, fans of action and the villain should be rewarded. The supporting cast was aces.

The first time I saw this movie I thought it was great but then it got better. Then I rented it again and it became even better. The acting was great the effects were great, the story was great, and I loved the plot twist. I rate this movie a 10 out of 10.

I have never seen the original, so I have no experience with the science of "true" alien invasions. And honestly, I don't think that the aliens in this movie would be that big of a threat in the first place. After watching this movie, I am guessing that the aliens, if there even were any aliens, are not even close to being human, and are like something that would come out of a Japanese animation. And they would take their very stupid little space helmets off and be just as scary as a little human. However, this movie had a few things going for it. The first thing is that the plot was interesting. The last scene was the most intense, and very entertaining. The acting was pretty good, and the directing was fairly good. If there was one thing I was not really very impressed with, it was the extreme lack of plot development. This movie was just pure action, without much background story to get in the way. And honestly, if I didn't know anything about the "true" alien invasion, I probably wouldn't care. Just see it for yourself. I really think that this is worth watching. But it would not be a bad movie to watch, just a waste of time.

There are a lot of action movies with loads of gunfights and explosions. But most of them are to boring to watch. I give it a 7. For having a clever story with action scenes, good music and the two main characters are very strong, it is a movie that will make you enjoy the fight scenes. In this movie you will find great martial arts and special effects. No action scenes are unnecessary. This movie is very entertaining.

My 6-year-old grandson and I went to see the movie last night, and after the first 5 minutes or so, I was convinced this was going to be really boring. What happened? Things picked up after that, and after the first hour I was hooked. Why do movies like this always fail? It is always the same: the acting, the script, the story. This movie got everything right. Good story and screenplay, good actors and actresses, good director. One movie to rule them all.

I really enjoyed this movie, it is one of those "so bad it's good" type of movies. One of the things I have always enjoyed about these kinds of movies is that they are always about bad guys trying to make a killing and about good guys trying to stop them. There is one thing in this movie that is very noticeable, it's the scenes of cars speeding around the streets of Sydney, Australia. As I said, if you are a fan of car chases, this movie is for you, but if you are looking for something that is more realistic, and a story line that doesn't rely too much on the "bad guys kicking the crap out of the good guys" type of movie, this movie may not be for you.

Anyone who hasn't seen this film yet might not be aware of this type of film, because it is really bad. But its not funny, its just boring. A great part of the story is the first meeting of the lead character and the gang who fight over the money he stole. The two go after the money together, and the actual ending of the film is a wild ending. Overall, its a bad film, but it is still better than average.
