The last two years (1888-1890) in the life of Vincent van Gogh are presented, those years spent largely in southern France, most specifically Arles. He is driven by his art and what his art means to him, as opposed to the primary goal of making money, which he does not in not selling any of his paintings and thus being supported financially and emotionally by his brother, Theo van Gogh. As opposed to his friend and fellow artist Paul Gauguin who has a modicum of success, Van Gogh is seen as less contemplative about his work due in large part to the speed at which he paints and what is seen as the haphazard style of thick strokes of paint on the canvas, but he is arguably more contemplative regardless of how prolific he is. That overall contemplative nature manifests itself more as madness, seeming or real, as demonstrated by an infamous act concerning his left ear.

I have been a fan of Peter Weir's films since I saw "The Road" when I was a teenager. The movie is about a man who is seeking an explanation for his loss of faith, and in the process of doing so, finds his faith restored. The main character is Jack Kerouac, and the film is based on his writings and his experiences. The film is very entertaining and touching. The music is good and the performances are great. I think that the main reason that people don't like this movie is that they expect a more dramatic, dramatic film. In fact, I think the plot is quite simple and the story is quite simple. The whole point of the movie is about faith. And I think that the main point of the movie is that it is about faith. It is not about the main character, but about the main character. I think that it is a great movie, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes great movies.

An outstanding film about the history of the relationship between the two countries. The story is told with great care and is very interesting to watch. The acting is superb. The cinematography is beautiful. The music is excellent. The dialogue is witty and poignant. The actors all do a wonderful job. The story is told in a very natural way. There is no dull moment in the movie. The only thing that bothers me is that the two countries don't seem to get along very well at the end. I do think that this could have been a great movie if the countries were at least in a similar relationship to the one depicted in the film. It is a wonderful film. It is a good film for all ages. It is not for everyone, but it is a great film and one that I would recommend to anyone. It is a must see.

This movie is one of the best movies I have ever seen. I saw this movie last year and it is still one of my top 10 movies. It is not only the best movie ever made but also the best movie ever made. The actors were amazing. Everyone in this movie was fantastic. I never saw a movie like this before. I saw a lot of movies before this but this was the only one that I have ever seen. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good movie.

I was looking forward to seeing this film, but I didn't know that it would be so good. I was absolutely amazed by the portrayal of the many years of development of John and Pauline McCann. I thought it was incredible. I think that the film makers played with the storyline and made the audience think and see things for themselves, not relying on the typical logic of how everything came out. I did have to struggle to stay focused on the film for the whole of the film. The story is very real and you feel for John and Pauline. The McCann's have been forgotten, but as Pauline said to John at one point in the film, she is happy and that's the most she has ever felt. This movie is not a family drama. It is not a movie about a dying girl's struggle to cope with her mother's death. It is not about love or marriage or father-son relationships. It is a true story that must be told, and I think that it will be remembered as a landmark film. I have seen "Pleasantville" twice, and I will definitely be seeing "Eternity's Gate" two more times. I can't wait to see this film again. I rate it a 10 out of 10.

This film is truly a masterpiece and the best in the series. From the very beginning I was captivated by the portrayal of the Fellowship and of the Book. The beautiful locations where the characters spend the majority of their time were the best to me. The scenery was breathtaking and some of the shots are haunting and evocative. The acting is amazing, especially by Paul Newman, who in his first film since Saving Private Ryan and For Love Of The Game, delivered an unforgettable performance. With some of the last words in the film "Is this enough?", he just goes beyond words and puts them into words. The supporting cast is also very well developed and you find yourself caring about their journey. It's just one of those movies that is both fascinating and tragic at the same time. One of the best films I've seen this year. Some have criticized the film as slow and boring, but I found the way the story unfolds to be perfectly done. I was in awe of the first 30 minutes or so, but the characters and the story are what kept me captivated. The final part is just so sad and heartbreaking, but so well done. The characters are so much like you've just met them. You just feel their pain and you want to see them succeed. Truly a masterpiece of storytelling and film making. A real must see for everyone. There are some who've said the film is too depressing and slow, but I disagree. There's no point of being a sad film if the ending doesn't make you cry.

The making of a movie is a complicated thing. Many things happen over a long time period, but how much time is wasted on rewrites, re-edits, re-edits and re-edits and re-edits is what makes it a movie, period. My theory is this: if you cannot make a movie in about a year, you're in trouble. This is a lesson worth learning. To anyone with a weakness for horse-breeds, this movie will be a breath of fresh air. I don't want to spoil any of the story, so I will not say any more. But the only drawback is that it feels a bit stretched at times. Most of the actors do a fine job, especially Andy Garcia and James Cromwell, but there were some under-appreciated people I will remember in this film.

This is one of those films that everyone should see. It's like a nightmare. You just want to go back and be able to sleep. But you just can't. It's so haunting and beautiful. You feel like you've been there before, you've experienced the same experience. You've walked the same path. The two main characters are not two people we meet, but two ghosts. Their "cases" are just like other people. They move about and communicate. They all walk the same road. It's just that the path they take seems so endless. And you'll never get to leave. It'll take your entire life. It'll take your lifetime. But you're not alone. You'll be able to call that woman, your mother. Your mother's an angel to you. If you find her, your mother. She'll be here. That's my mother's angel. But she'll be with you forever. And when you find your mother. That will be the first time that you'll know. You'll wake up. You'll realize the truth. You'll be able to see that you're no longer alone. Or the truth will stay with you forever. But it won't be about finding your mother. It'll be about finding what you lost.

A splendid movie of my childhood. A look into the dark side of the culture of the English upper classes. The quest for purity, the madness of desire, a dark love affair. The journey of the protagonist to uncover his core personality, as well as his surroundings, his soul. Some issues still so relevant today, the issue of gender relations, the problem of relationships between individuals. A movie with a great deal of depth, a classic. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to understand the spiritual side of the English upper classes.

The first time I watched this film I didn't get the whole story. I just watched it to see how it ended. But now I've watched it a couple of times, I'm more interested in what happens next. The acting is great. The characters are all very realistic. The story is very compelling and you really care about the characters. This is a movie that you can watch again and again and again. You really will feel what the characters feel. It's not a movie for kids, but it's a movie for adults. I loved it and I hope you will too.

I remember seeing "Eternity's Gate" on television years ago and having to face the unshakable sense of horror and sadness at the thought that I had been involved in the downfall of this fine little film.

At Eternity's Gate is an amazing movie. A true masterpiece! The movie is about a little boy named Matthew (Mark Ruffalo), who just got out of the military and his journey of getting through his new world. Matthew also meets this man named William (Guy Pearce) who is a musician and also a writer, and he takes Matthew on this journey to get through the problems of the world. This is a movie that I am not sure is better or even the same. The acting in this movie is great, but it is also very touching and that is why this movie is so great. The movie has a great story and great music. A must see!

A fantasy of a man's life. The final product of a guy's mental illness and desperation. Each one of the actors are superb and superbly blend their respective characters together to create this mysterious and beautiful movie. The good points is that the director did not necessarily need to show the overblown beauty of nature and the beautiful feelings of the humans, but was able to present them in a great way. There are amazing cinematographic choices, and the emotions of the characters are tangible. Every character, regardless of their personality and individuality, plays an important part in the overall story. If you love fantasy films, this is one you must see. It is very hard to criticize this film, because it is rare that you can say that about a fantasy film. This movie is hard, painful and funny, but it is also clear that it is about a man's battle with himself, his mental illness and desperation. I hope there are a few more of these films.

I read some reviews about this movie and saw it on DVD and really I think they are way to harsh on this movie. Like any movie from this era it has its faults and its not a perfect movie. But on the whole it is a movie worth watching. The acting is great from everyone in this movie. Also they added some great special effects in the movie. Just like the movie's like Harry Potter. If you love romantic films and you like this kind of movie then this is a movie for you. But it also has its faults. And that is that it can be a bit slow in the beginning. The scenes with the girls and the scenes in the Greek ruins is also slow and the camera movement can be slow too. And I think the two roles of the girls are great but the acting from the actors is amazing. It's nice to see more or less young actresses in movies like this one. If you are a fan of this type of movies then you will enjoy this movie.

Years ago, the title of this film really grabbed me. It is a really stirring and powerful story about a man called William Carlos Williams, who committed suicide after being convicted for the murder of his wife and daughter. This film, titled, "The Eulogy of Thomas Harris", deals with the aftermath of this tragedy. It depicts how the community struggles with this tragedy. As the director's comment on the DVD notes, "We are overwhelmed by the response to this film." To watch this film is to be moved, and not only by the tragic deaths of the two brothers and the mother, but also by the telling of their story. The cinematography is one of the most inspiring films I have ever seen. The cinematography is extremely beautiful, yet the film would have been even more powerful had it not been in black and white. The last shot in the film, in which the mother's portrait is stretched out over the rooftops of London, is also a truly moving image. Perhaps this is also why the last shot in the film is more powerful than the others. For me, the most important image in the film is the one of the two brothers as they look out over London. The characters are well written, and the acting is above average. Overall, I can say without hesitation that "The Eulogy of Thomas Harris" is a must-see film. It is a powerful film about a tragic period in the history of England, and it is a good film about death and dying.
