If a dance is not danced, it vanishes. If the Dancer Dances follows a group of New York City's top modern dancers as they reconstruct an iconic and mysterious work by the legendary Merce Cunningham, revealing what it takes to keep a dance alive. Timed to coincide with Cunningham's centennial, the film confronts one of the most urgent issues facing the dance world today: how do we prevent the loss of masterworks to time?

I had the pleasure of seeing the film at the Rotterdam film festival. I was most impressed by the powerful portrayal of the power struggles between the dancers and the security. I think that the filmmakers were able to capture the feelings of the dancers perfectly. It is a fascinating story. The story that was presented in this documentary was so powerful that it had the ability to give the audience a deep sense of empathy for the dancers. I think that this film would be worth watching. My only negative comment is that I felt that there was a bit too much focus on the dancers and not enough on the audience. This would have made the film even more powerful if there was more focus on the audience. Overall, a very powerful documentary.

The Documentary "The Dancer Dances" is a documentary about the life of the group of dancers. The filmmakers give us the story behind the dancers, as well as a small bit about the dancers themselves. The movie is somewhat unique, because the documentary is a voice-over, and a good one at that. The narration is done very well, and it is very entertaining to hear the story behind the group of dancers. The film is pretty short, and it doesn't give us much time to delve into the story of the dancers. In fact, the film does a good job of keeping the story going, even though it's short. If you are interested in learning more about the dancers and their life, I would recommend watching this documentary. The documentary is good, but not great. It's worth a watch, but it's not going to be your "go to" documentary.

I saw this movie at the old theaters in Orange County, CA. It was in black and white and was an amazing experience. I had no idea what to expect but it was different. I also saw it with a girl who was in her 30's and she liked it a lot. It is very hard to find old movie reels but this is one that I found. The story is about a woman who was a model for a magazine that went bankrupt and now she is broke. She has no place to live and her husband is unable to help her and is using the money he gets from the magazine. One day she meets a homeless man named Gus, who is a retired dancer and a good man. She is so taken with him that she hires him to help her find a place to stay. It is funny to see the way Gus and the homeless man fall in love. I would recommend this movie to anyone who wants to see a different kind of movie. It is worth it.

I found the documentary to be extremely interesting and inspiring. It really put into perspective why and how the gay and lesbian community has been going through so much adversity in recent years. I also thought it was very informative on the effects that being born a man can have on a person's life. I also found the documentary to be extremely inspirational. It's quite obvious that this documentary is based on actual events that occurred in the early 1980's. As such, it also serves as a great guide for people who are interested in learning more about this subject. I would recommend this documentary to anyone who wants to learn more about the subject.

I was not expecting to like this documentary but I think it was very good. I did not understand the analysis of this film as it is focused on three people and their relationship. It does a good job at showing the importance of relationships and the value of the things that are important in life. The film goes a bit slow but it is worth watching.

This is a good documentary, about some events that happened in the mid-80's in Berlin. The main character, Renee, is a Polish woman who was a participant in the dance class for young people in Berlin in the 80's. As you watch the documentary, you see how she lives her life. She has a lot of friends, she has her boyfriend, she has a job. She also has a lot of enemies, she is a prostitute, she is a lesbian and she is a criminal. This documentary is very interesting. Renee has a lot of problems in her life, she wants to leave her boyfriend, she wants to leave her job, she wants to commit suicide. She also has problems with the police, she is an informant, she is a sex worker and she is a criminal. She even tried to kill herself a couple of times. One of the most interesting things about her is that she has two sets of parents. Her parents are very different from each other, and her mother is the more conservative one. The documentary is interesting because it shows how Renee feels, what she thinks, and how she lives her life. This documentary is very good.

This is a documentary that follows a group of dancers from a ballet company that goes to a summer camp for a year. I've never seen this documentary before, but I'm glad I did. The dancers are all very real and very talented. I felt like I was part of this group and I really enjoyed it. The actors were also very good, especially with the guys. There were some really funny moments and the film is well-edited and well-shot. I've never seen a documentary with so many interviews with dancers, but it's well worth it. I recommend this documentary to everyone.

I had the privilege of seeing this film at the Austin Film Festival. This is one of the best documentaries I've seen in a long time. The actors and actresses really shine. I would highly recommend seeing this film! It is a must see. You will feel the love of these characters and see the connection between them. The film is about real life relationships and their impact on each other. I think this is an important film that we should all see.

I saw this film at the Seattle International Film Festival, and I was impressed with the fact that there were actually people there with a background in dance. It seemed to be a mainstream film, but the story was original and had the potential to be a great film. The film does a good job of showing how dance can really help people and also how it can really hurt people. This is probably the most important aspect of the film. The film also gives you some insight into the different levels of dance and how each one affects people differently. This film also covers the history of dance in the US, and it is very informative. Overall, I would recommend this film to anyone looking for a well made, interesting film that tells a good story and does a good job of telling it. I give it a B-.

I agree with the previous comment, it's a great film. I was surprised to learn that it was funded entirely by one man, Joe Leydon. I think it is a good sign of how far we have come in the last 25 years that a documentary as important as this one can be made and still be accessible to the public. There are no heroes in this movie. It's a simple story of a man trying to connect with his daughter, an entire community, and the people in the world that surround him. I believe that every person can make a difference in the world. As I watched it I was amazed at how good the people were portrayed, including the dance instructor, and I was touched by the passion, courage, and courage of the people who participated in the documentary. I was moved by the music and especially by the song sung by the group "Fever Dream." I recommend this movie to everyone.

I have never been so taken with a movie. This movie made me laugh and cry. I'm not sure why I was so moved. I would have to say that it was the entire story of the story that moved me. I wish I could have seen it with a bigger screen. The movie moved me to tears so many times that I never get tired of it. I would recommend this movie to anyone. I have never been so moved to see a movie since The Godfather. The story is told so well and the performances are perfect. I recommend this movie to everyone. It will make you laugh and cry. You will see the beauty in the world. It is worth the money and the time to see it. It is not just a movie. It is an experience.

When I first saw this documentary, I didn't realize that it was made by the same director of this documentary. I had no idea that this film was going to be so incredibly powerful. I couldn't believe it. I was so moved by this film, and I couldn't stop crying. It was so very powerful, and I just wanted to share it with everyone. I am so grateful that I was able to see this film, and I hope that people will see it, too.

It's all about the Dancers! I loved this documentary because of the background music. It was the theme of the film and the music is amazing. The rest of the music was also great. I was also a big fan of the whole soundtrack. This documentary is the perfect choice for someone who is into dance music and wants to know more about it. It's also a good idea to see a movie with a "twist" at the end because I liked that. It's a film you should definitely watch.

This is the best documentary I've seen about this subject. I can't believe that so many people would not want to see this film. It is in the same league as the documentaries about the Holocaust, about the Rwandan genocide, about the Holocaust in Indonesia, etc. It's important to get the facts out there and make this point. It's so important to be open-minded and make the decision to see it. I'm giving this movie a 10 because it has all the important elements that we need in order to make a decision.

I came into this movie with absolutely no expectations, and I can honestly say, it's one of the most interesting documentaries I have ever seen. It's not an action packed, brainless documentary like some documentaries have become, it's a documentary that challenges you to think, and it's not afraid to get you thinking. It's also not a documentary that will tell you what to think, or what to feel, or what to do, but it will make you think, and it will challenge you. This is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. You will be challenged and challenged by this documentary. I loved it, and it will have you thinking for days.

This documentary follows a year in the life of a young man who dances the night away. In a single night, he dances for over a year to pay for his tuition. I was fascinated by this story. It is one of the most remarkable stories I have ever seen. What was so special about this young man? He was a very hard working, shy, and introverted individual. The story of this man and his journey to make this film is unique and moving. I recommend this film to everyone who is looking for a documentary to watch. This is one of the most remarkable documentaries I have ever seen.

The movie was extremely well done. I really appreciated how well made it was and that the participants seemed to actually enjoy themselves. I felt like I was watching an actual dance that was happening. I really appreciated the fact that the participants actually "did" the dances and had fun with it. It really made me want to learn more about it. I have never seen a movie with so many people in it. It really made the movie worth watching. I was surprised by how well done the film was. I would recommend this film to anyone who enjoys dance.

This documentary looks at the current popularity of the social dance movement from the perspective of those involved in it, including many who are just starting to learn the basics of the art, and some who have already made a lot of money off it. It also looks at the resistance to change among some of the more organized and more prominent members of the dance movement. For a casual observer, it will be a great documentary to watch.

I didn't know what to expect when I saw this documentary. I expected to see a bunch of celebrities talking about how they are not comfortable with their bodies. I was wrong. This documentary was a wonderful glimpse into the lives of people who struggle with their bodies and what they do to stay true to their identity. The interviews were incredibly insightful, and it truly hit home. The discussion of what is and is not acceptable is very insightful and takes a lot of hard work to understand. I was incredibly touched by what was said and I encourage anyone who has the ability to see it to see this movie. I think you will be inspired by what you hear. I encourage everyone to see this documentary because it is truly a must see.

I am from the United States, and I had never heard of this film until I was browsing Netflix and stumbled across it. I was a bit skeptical at first because I was worried that it would be a documentary about people living in the village, but after watching it, I was totally convinced it was real. I could not believe how much I enjoyed this film. The cinematography was incredible and the soundtrack was incredible. It was like watching a film from the perspective of people who were actually there. I don't think I could watch it again. It was such a powerful experience. It's amazing to see that this documentary had a profound effect on the people who were there, and I was grateful to have a voice in this world. I highly recommend this film.

The Dancer Dances was an amazing documentary on a real story. I was truly touched by the stories of the two children that were orphaned and were adopted by so many people. I am so proud of them, the people that adopted them, and the people that loved them. I think this documentary was truly a joy to watch, and I hope it is a source of comfort to many people. It is a real eye opener to know that not only children are orphaned, but that people often will help them. The child's stories are captivating, and it was very heart-wrenching to watch the two children's story unfold. I have never seen anything like it, and I am so grateful for the movie's directors for making such an amazing story. I highly recommend the movie to anyone.

This is a great film about a woman, who takes her daughters dance class and shows them how to be a successful businesswoman. It's nice to see a film about people, who are really out there, and really just trying to make a living, and they are not afraid to take risks. It's nice to see that not everyone who is trying to make a living is a crook or is a scam artist. The women in the film are great, and the director did a great job with the film. I would definitely recommend this film.

This movie is so good and so inspiring. I'm so glad I saw it. I have never felt this way about a movie before. The music and dance is just so beautiful. I just loved it. I feel like I'm dancing right now. I just want to watch it over and over. The video is so inspirational and so beautiful. I just wanted to thank them for making this movie and making people dance and feel the way they do. I really hope the next generation of dancers get to see this movie and really feel the power of dancing. I think it's important for everyone to see this movie because it's really inspirational. I am so grateful for all the Dancers and all the people that work for the Dancers. I hope you get to see this movie!
