Good action, good soundtrack, a little bit "holocaust" feeling, good social message, interesting mix between good and bad characters. I liked it. Main problem is that the last act is quite vague, the other two acts are a bit lacking, just slightly. Still, it was a good film.

Before watching the film I had read some online reviews about how beautiful this film is. I also had read that the film was a study of two women - one an editor at a daily paper and the other a prostitute. So, while I was watching the film, I was aware of the history and contents of the film, but I did not have a lot of expectations of the movie. Well, after watching the movie, I can honestly say that the majority of the criticism is not fair and it is not the case that there is a political agenda behind the film. In fact, the film is very philosophical and philosophical at the same time. In some parts it makes me feel that I'm actually watching a documentary, but in other parts it makes me feel that I'm watching a classic work of art. I'm not trying to defend the politics of the film - it's not about it - but I am trying to defend the content of the film. I think it is a philosophical work that discusses, among other things, the nature of love, a subject that is very important for my generation. And, although the film is very deep and deep, the most important thing that I take away from it is that I have learned something about myself and about my generation. It makes me feel good to have been a part of such a film and I think that it is worth watching. In fact, I think it is one of the best films that I've seen this year, maybe even the best.

This is the tale of two men (Han and Tsang) who accidentally meet and fall in love with each other. When Han sees Tsang, he stops what he is doing and falls for her. In the end, they realize that they have to give up their freedom. The film is very emotional and very interesting. I love the Chinese-foreign characters connection and the story. This film should be shown in high schools because it can teach some social studies. It's very thought provoking and romantic.

A classic of Hong Kong cinema, this is truly the best of his great films. It may not be one of his greatest films, but it's definitely one of the best movies ever made. Characters in this film have more depth than the usual great heros in the mainland cinema. There is also a woman played by Shek Hsiao-hsien, and even the end credits has a line which I believe is in a song by Chow Yun-Fat. This film shows that even in the 60s, Hong Kong cinema still had depth. Not just in the 'heroic' ending, but in the background stories. I love how Chow Yun-Fat brought his wife to the end of the film, the feeling of relief is very well done. This movie also has a lot of talent on the main characters. Chow Yun-Fat is good in his role, and does a good job with his famous accent. I can also say that this film was an improvement over his earlier, and for me, it still stands up to this day.

In China, this is called "Yun-Yuen-Hua" or "The Return of the Dragon Girl" and is an obscure cult movie from 1970. It stars the main character in the movie and her foster mother as well. The foster mother disappears at the end of the movie and the mother is presumed dead. The foster mother and the movie continue to the present day. The movie is well shot and is definitely worth seeing.
