Vox Lux follows the rise of Celeste from the ashes of a major national tragedy to pop super stardom. The film spans 18 years and traces important cultural moments through her eyes, starting in 1999 and concluding in 2017. In 1999, teenage Celeste (Raffey Cassidy) survives a violent tragedy. After singing at a memorial service, Celeste transforms into a burgeoning pop star with the help of her songwriter sister (Stacy Martin) and a talent manager (Jude Law). Celeste's meteoric rise to fame and concurrent loss of innocence dovetails with a shattering terrorist attack on the nation, elevating the young powerhouse to a new kind of celebrity: American icon, secular deity, global superstar. By 2017, adult Celeste (Natalie Portman) is mounting a comeback after a scandalous incident that derailed her career. Touring in support of her sixth album, a compendium of sci-fi anthems entitled Vox Lux, the indomitable, foul-mouthed pop savior must overcome her personal and familial struggles to navigate motherhood, madness and monolithic fame in the Age of Terror. In Brady Corbet's second feature, following his 2015 breakout debut The Childhood of a Leader - winner of the Best Director and Best Debut Film prizes at the Venice Film Festival - Celeste becomes a symbol of the cult of celebrity and the media machine in all its guts, grit and glory. Featuring original songs by Sia, an original score by Scott Walker, and a transcendent performance by Natalie Portman, personifying and pummeling the zeitgeist, Vox Lux is an origin story about the forces that shape us, as individuals, nations, and gods.

This is a decent movie. It's a bit long and it's very slow. The acting is okay but not great. I think this is a movie that could have been much better if it had a better director. I think the story could have been better and the characters could have been better. The only thing that I think could have been better is that the movie would have been longer. I think the story could have been better if it had more action, more suspense, and more drama. Overall, I think this movie is worth watching, but I would recommend that you wait until it comes out on DVD.

The story of a young man who is the son of a serial killer who has been caught. The story is told through a series of flashbacks, but the movie is more of a documentary than a documentary. The acting is great, and the soundtrack is great. The only problem I have with this movie is that it doesn't have a very strong plot. I don't know if that's a fault of the director or the writers, but I think that the story could have been told a lot better. It could have been told in a way that was more interesting to the viewer. I think that this movie is worth seeing.

Vox Lux is a rather unusual film. Although it is a dark comedy, it is also a drama, and a coming of age film. It is about a teenager who has grown up in the 1950s, growing up in a poor home and following the same social norms that were common in the 1940s. When a new teacher comes to the school, and the parents are from the same generation as the teenager, the whole environment is changed, and the teenager begins to question his upbringing and the changes that have occurred. He starts to question his beliefs and to question his morals. He also begins to question his peers and even himself. The way the film is filmed is amazing, as is the acting. The way the acting was filmed was incredible, especially by Bill Nighy. The performances were so amazing and believable, and the way they were filmed was also impressive. The cinematography was also amazing. I also really enjoyed the music, especially the sound effects, especially the computer-generated music. The film is not for everyone, but if you are a teenager in the 1950s, or a teenager in the 1940s, this film is definitely for you.

A very rare and beautiful film about a young man who finds out he has a rare disorder and must go through the life of a museum exhibit to help others. It is a little slow at times but it was well done and worth watching.

I was expecting this to be another dull and uninspired TV movie, however this is not. It is the best film I've seen in a long time and I was not disappointed. The acting was amazing, the direction was amazing, the cinematography was amazing and I really loved how the camera was able to hold its own on the screen, something I didn't think it could do. This was a film that stayed with me for a long time after. If you like Asian films, you will like this one, I'm not saying that because I'm Asian myself, just that it's a great film, that is true and that's why I recommend it.

The story of a man who lives in a convent and is accused of witchcraft. The story is a little too long for my taste, but it is a very good movie. The acting is very good and the story is very interesting. The acting is really good by all the actors. I think that it is a little too long, but it is a good movie. I would recommend it to anyone who likes a good movie with good acting and great story. I give it a 7 out of 10.

I've been a fan of Carlos Lillo for quite some time and I knew that he was a talented actor, but I had no idea that he would be able to make a movie that actually brought out the drama in me. One of the reasons that I really love this movie is because it is one of those rare films that really brings out the drama that I think should be there. When I first saw this film I was absolutely floored by how good the acting was and the emotions were so genuine. I would say that it is definitely one of my top 5 favorite movies. If you are a fan of Carlos Lillo and he is one of your favorite actors then I highly recommend this movie. It is a must see.

This film is not only a personal reflection on life, but on the lives of the people who actually do things. This is not the story of a genius inventor, nor of a professor, but a passionate man who was simply looking to know the truth about life. At the heart of the film are the struggles of people and the way they deal with it. The ultimate question of life is "What is life?"

I will admit that I'm not a big fan of Neil Jordan's work, but this is one of his better ones. While the direction isn't particularly exciting, the score is terrific, and the performances are uniformly excellent. The film is hard-hitting at times, and has a unique approach to the jazz genre. It's a must for any music lover. I rate it 9/10.

It was a bit depressing to see how American film-making has so abandoned its tradition of telling a story with characters and situations that are just engaging. But in this film, the viewer is so immersed in the story of an arts group that everyone is instantly aware of what is going on with them. Not only do they have a musical group in their midst, but they have the ability to go anywhere and have the same kind of lasting impact that people do. It's a good reminder of how people are as simple as the world they live in.

I've been a great fan of Kieslowski's for a long time now. He's one of my favourite directors, so I expected this film to be great. It was. It's a wonderful story, and an incredible look at the rise and fall of a man. Kieslowski does a great job of telling a unique story, from the fascinating cast to the beautiful cinematography. A lot of people are disappointed that this isn't a better film than The Aviator, but I don't agree. I loved this movie, and I've never been so happy about a film. If you're a Kieslowski fan, this is the movie you've been waiting for. If you're not a Kieslowski fan, or you're not interested in film, this isn't the movie for you. But if you like a film that's artistic, and has a great story, I highly recommend this film. It's worth watching, and I'll be watching it again.

I didn't expect much of this movie when I watched it. But I had high expectations, and after watching it, I have to say, I am very happy that I went to see it. It is a very hard movie to watch. You have to be very active. But it is definitely worth it. The acting is very good. The dialogue is very intense and original, which I found very refreshing. The music is very good. I thought it fit very well with the scenes in the movie. The plot is very simple and straight forward, but it makes you think a lot. I liked the fact that the movie is very political and in a very extreme way. It really gives you a lot to think about. Also the political message is very clear and very powerful. But what I really liked was the message about the growth of the movie. It shows that even though you are growing up, you still have to grow up and be mature. This movie has a message that is very important for me, and it is also very profound. This movie is definitely worth watching. The fact that it was only $1.99 at the movies also helps. The actors were very good and the production was very good. So, go and see it.

I just saw this movie, and I have to say that it is a great movie. It is a musical, but the story is also very well written. I thought the acting was very good, and I think the acting is very good. I was very impressed with the way that the director captured the music of the movie. The soundtrack of the movie is amazing, and it is a very well made movie. The movie is very interesting, and I think that it is very important for everyone to watch this movie. I am very happy that I watched it, and I think that it is a great movie.

I was a fan of The Office, but I think I could have been a better fan. It's not that I didn't like the show, but I was bored, and not in a good way. I watched this movie after my girlfriend told me to, and I was a little surprised. It was a little slow, and it didn't have much action, but it was still good. I have to say that I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I didn't think I would like this movie, but I did. The story was interesting, and the acting was good. I really liked this movie, and I think that it is definitely worth seeing. If you don't like The Office, you might like this movie.

I am not an A-list actor or even an actor. I am, at best, a regular consumer. The reason I enjoy the world of film, and would actually prefer to watch some films than others, is that I feel that the type of film you watch has a direct impact on the way you experience the world. Whether it is a period piece set in a period, or a documentary on a particular subject, you can say that each of these films reflects a different aspect of the world. That is the main reason I enjoy these kinds of films. So when I say "I am a teenager", I mean it. I am a teenager. I can appreciate art, and the work of a great filmmaker, and a great actor. However, I am also a realist, and I can appreciate a film for its positive value, or, at least, for what it represents. I am a teenager, and I am going to watch this film, "The Wrestler", because I want to see what happens next, and I want to be entertained. In the last few years, I have seen a lot of films that I have found enjoyable, but I have not seen a film that I found great. "The Wrestler" is a film that is a triumph of genre, and story. "The Wrestler" is a film that I would describe as "The Godfather of Punk Rock" and "The Godfather of Punk Rock" combined. Its a movie that I would be proud to say that I saw. The film is, in the beginning, a documentary on the rock-and-roll scene in the 50's and 60's. While it is shot with the usual camera-work, it has a very original, humorous, and very original style of photography. I would say that the camera-work is, in the first 20 minutes, better than anything I have ever seen. You could see it as a documentary, or a "dramatic". But it is also a documentary. In the second half, the film goes into a lot of musical genres, from classic rock to reggae. It is a "dramatic" film. But, unlike most "dramatic" films, the music is not a problem. It is fun, and entertaining. The music is truly one of the best things about "The Wrestler". It is not going to make you go "Wow, that was an amazing film", but it will make you enjoy a good film. I also found the acting to be excellent. Jack Black is great, in this film. He shows us that he is much more than the star of one of his films. He is a great actor. Jada Pinkett-Smith is a great character actress. She was the reason I watched the film, and I could not have wished for a better actress to play her role. The rest of the cast is also wonderful, in their roles. The director has done a wonderful job. It is a great film. I rate it a 9/10.

I am surprised that this movie doesn't get much attention. It is an interesting take on the creation of music and the importance of music in a culture. In my opinion, it is really well done. The acting is good and the movie takes its time. It is a great story that shows what true passion can do for people. I recommend this movie to all. I highly recommend it.
